Brief
Main Task: Produce the titles and opening of a new fiction film, to last a maximum of two minutes. All video and audio must be original, produced by you, with the exception of music and audio effects which can be from a copyright-free source.
Research and Planning: This must be presented on a group blog but you will be assessed individually for your contribution. Please note that work will not be accepted on paper.
Evaluation: This may be presented as; an individual voice over, a commentary on your film, a filmed group discussion or a blog.
You will work in a group (Maximum group size 4). Once you have sufficient evidence that you have planned your film we will let you film. You will then use iMovie or Final Cut to edit you footage.
The production element is to be presented collectively. However, you will be assessed on an individual basis for your contribution to the production.
The unit is marked out of a total of 100 marks:
20 marks for the presentation of the planning and research;
60 marks for the construction;
20 marks for the evaluation.
G321 is marked by your tutors and then submitted to OCR by a specified date.
